Kino College is an authorized testing site for the NHA’s Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam. Our curriculum prepares you to sit for it, and your tuition includes study materials and practice exams.

You can take the exam while you’re still a student or after you graduate. Either way, you test in the same building where you learned the skills, and you get your results right away.

What is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant?

A CCMA is a medical assistant who has finished an accredited program and passed the national CCMA exam. CCMAs work directly with patients and support doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with clinical tasks.

How long does it take to get certified?

You can finish the Kino College program in 9 months, then sit for the CCMA exam.

Do medical assistants in Arizona need to be certified?

No. Arizona does not require medical assistants to be licensed or certified. Certification is optional, but it can open up more job opportunities.
